Who we’re looking for

Ethical. Experienced. Professional.

We’re looking for trainers who demonstrate:

  • Proven experience working with dogs and owners

  • A clear, ethical training philosophy

  • Commitment to welfare-led, humane methods

  • Professional standards including insurance and safeguarding

  • A desire to contribute positively to the industry

Typical areas of expertise may include:

  • Puppy and obedience training

  • Behaviour consultations

  • Rescue dog support

  • One-to-one or group training

  • Specialist work (e.g. aggression, scent-work, working dogs)

The Application Process

1. Submit your application
Complete our online application form, outlining your experience, qualifications, and approach.

2. Reviewing

Applications are assessed against ADOi standards, values, and professional criteria.

3. Accreditation
You’ll join the ADOi network as an Approved Trainer.

4. Annual fee of £195
An annual fee of £195 is required to maintain your status as an ADOi approved trainer
